Wedding cake is one of my not so secret pleasures. I mean, I LOVE the stuff. But, although fondant can make a cake look beautiful, let’s be honest, it’s not exactly tasty. So, I am loving this new trend of stripping all that gummy, chewy cover right off and letting your cake go, erm, commando. I think the effect looks absolutely gorgeous and for those of you icing lovers, there is still plenty of room for that yummy sweetness in between the layers.
