I have to start by saying that I love our couples!  I think everyone says that, but I truly love getting to know them and having fun seeing them so excited on their wedding day.  Jenny and Adam were no different.  They were so fun and down to earth and their wedding party was so much fun as well.  They had their priorities in line and didn’t stress, even when a downpour came right before their outdoor ceremony was supposed to begin.

Adam and Jenny got married at Pine Halls in Cottontown, TN.  It was a beautiful backdrop for their wedding.  There were lots of gorgeous trees, a barn and a cute little cottage where they could get ready.  The catering was provided by 8 Lavender Lane.  Let me tell you, they were so nice and so creative.  Debbie paid close attention to detail and came with decor for the food tables perfectly themed to Jenny and Adam’s style.  She also handled all the rentals for the day.  The family and bridal party put their flowers together and Rachel Tenpenny of Brasspenny Photography captured the day perfectly.  (I should interject that Rachel is awesome, she is fun and really fun to spend the wedding day with.)

These families hold a soft spot in our hearts.  Adam’s sister is one of our dear friends and both Adam and Jenny’s families are the kind you meet and wish you could be a part of.  (But everyone has a crazy cousin Cletus right?)  They had lawn games set up for their friends, including life-size Jenga and Jenny’s dad handmade all the favors.  We truly enjoyed helping them.  This day was really fun for us, among the normal wedding things like sending the wedding party down the aisle, this day also involved hammering shepherds hooks into the ground, sprinting in the rain to keep guests informed on delays, watching the weather and waiting out a storm and handing over my rain boots for Jenny to wear during the ceremony.   Days like this are exactly why we love our job and the couples who make it possible!
