Ahh, Bridal shows. I feel like they are a love-hate relationship. I know a lot of people that loath them but I love them! They are a great place to see a lot of vendors at their best in one place. Last weekend we participated in the Murfreesboro Pink Bridal Show. This is the second bridal show we have done as Modern Vintage.
Jacob Marketing always does a great job putting on bridal shows so we knew to expect a fun day. There were some great vendors there and I had fun checking out all the booths. There were also some amazing caterers and bakers. I am sucker for some good food and cake.
We started out with wanting to do a very modern feel but it gravitated toward vintage. I think we accomplished our name and had a vintage feel with some very modern touches. (Or the other way around?)
We wanted to have some fun, geometric patterns but pair them with a more organic linen like the oatmeal linen above. It has the look of burlap without all the shedding. The French provincial desk came from my grandparents house and was the perfect place to house our buttons and invitation.
Are you as chevron obsessed as everyone else? As you can see, we are. We kept that pattern with the runner and the invitation but didn’t want to over do it with the pillows. (Less is more right?) We love details, you could even call us detail nerds. Because of this we wanted to put as many fun details in our booth as possible.
We had Rickey Minder from Ode Floral Artistry design some flowers for us. Her style is very organic and flowy and incredible! Added bonus is that Rickey is really cool and super sweet.
We met some really fun brides and really enjoyed the bridal show! When can we do another one?
