Organic Fall Murfreesboro Wedding
Guys, CarrieAnne and Steve are two of the most fun, most genuine people we know. (Our couples are so great, we are truly lucky to have the best couples!) Their fall wedding was a real wooded wonderland. They are both from Chicago but living in Nashville and really wanted to make sure all their friends and family who were traveling had fun over their wedding weekend.
Cathedral of the Incarnation Wedding
It was important to them to have a Catholic wedding in a cathedral and they chose the gorgeous cathedral in Nashville. It was a beautiful setting for a meaningful ceremony in a breathtaking setting. We love watching all the happiness from the couple and their parents during the ceremony and CarrieAnne and Steve were no exception. You could just tell how much they support and love each other and how much they are in this thing together.
Before the ceremony CarriAnne did a first look with her dad which still makes me want to cry. They also knew that their time with Steve’s dad was running short so they savored every moment to celebrate with their family.
Reception Set in the Old Pine Trees
No, it wasn’t at Camp Anawana and probably not pine tress either, but their reception was at The Wren’s Nest in Murfreesboro. They bussed their guests by school bus to the Wren’s Nest and they were greeted with a food truck dinner nestled in the trees under string lights. They did their first dance under the stars in their matching Jordans. They laughed and smiled as their family toasted them and all their guests showed them some love.
Following any good dinner is an epic dance party. They walked down the candle lit path of trees to the Maples barn where they had a shaved ice truck and some amazing dancing. Did I mention that their wedding was during game four of the world series where the Cubs just happened to be playing (and winning.) There were definitely some Cubs fans checking in on that game!
We were so grateful to get to know CarriAnne and Steve and to be part of a team that brought their wedding day to life. Don’t let our words do all the talking (umm), check out how beautiful and fun it was!
We could never ever pull off a wedding without an amazing team and we definitely had one with this wedding.
