We are long overdue for some formal introductions. Meet Gratia Strother. You know when you meet someone who is both creative and organized and you think they could sort of do your job better than you can? Yeah, that is what happened with Gratia.  We loved her from her initial e-mail and after meeting with her we knew she just got it, got our business, how we deal with people and we knew that on wedding day she would keep her cool, keep things rolling and keep laughing with us.

Gratia is an interior designer by trade (amazing right?) and has owned her own company since 2005.

Some fun facts about Gratia: (straight from her mouth)

• I married my college sweetheart and we’re still loving holding hands and frequent dates, even after kids, the mortgage, and the occasional broken hot water heater.
• I feel energized by travel and by being in big cities with crowds, but my favorite place on earth is our 1791 family farm – God’s country, sunsets, views with nothin’ but green & blue sky!
• My favorite music happens live, acoustic, and on the front porch.
• My grandmother taught me how to knit, crochet, sew, can veggies, and laugh.
• My mother taught me how to draw, paint, and balance a checkbook.
• My dad taught me how to love people where they’re at.

Gratia is a huge part of the Modern Vintage team and helped us with some absolutely beautiful weddings last year. She is also taking the lead and rocking some weddings for 2015.
