Last week we participated in the Not Wedding. We wrote a little about it on our blog here.  We love what they stand for, “Inspiring brides and grooms, promoting local businesses and encouraging strong marriages.”  We think it is really amazing that they recognize the need for strong marriages and not just pretty weddings.  Being on this side of marriage for almost 8 years I know that it takes work and dedication and the more people promoting the need to work at it the better.  I also love that they want the vendors to connect as well.  There were some awesome vendors there that we were so excited to work beside.

One of the ways they promote vendor relationships is through a rehearsal dinner.  This dinner is a get to know you for all the vendors involved.  It was held at the Edgehill Cafe which is so cute and would be perfect for rehearsal dinners!  They also did the catering for the event and it was delicious.  I mean I wanted four more servings of grits.  Our friends Jessica and Elizabeth with SOUL Flowers and Stockroom Vintage styled the dinner and it was beautiful.  Rebecca of I Love You Too photography (she rocks) shot the event and did head shots for any vendor who wanted them!

The Not Wedding was so much fun. We are excited about all the vendors and the brides we met at the event. We can’t wait to share photos!
