Amanda and Jack are two of the most fun, infectious (in a good way) people we have met. They are genuine, they love laughing and know how to celebrate. Jack is in the military so they spent a lot of their relationship away from each other in different states.
They chose Trinity View Farm for the setting for their wedding. It sits on top of a hill in Franklin, TN with one of the most beautiful views. It looks like a Tuscan villa hidden in Tennessee. (There is also a really awesome swing on the property! We actually asked the rental company setting up to stop what they were doing and get on the swing because it was ahhh-mazing!) Amanda wanted something really organic and natural to complement the natural surroundings. Her flowers came from a local flower farm.
Their ceremony was set on top of the hill with a wonderful view. They laughed, their families enjoyed it and Jack even had time for a fist bump with a guest as he walked back down the aisle.
They did a saber arch before the reception and Jack leaned Amanda back for a sweeping romantic kiss and they both fell to the ground. Amanda took it in stride and got up laughing!
Amanda and Jack wanted a really fun feel so had a food truck cater their wedding and had a DJ that spins records. The reception included a Top Gun style serenade to “You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling”, late night snacks and an epic dance party. We used brass candlesticks and greens to accentuate the elegant feel of the barn. Also to accentuate the view, the amazing view!
The day was beautiful with subtle aviation hints. There were so many people there to celebrate their marriage!
Their wedding was also featured on Green Wedding Shoes here!
