As 2013 draws to a close, we are so grateful for all of the wonderful clients we’ve had the pleasure of working with this year. It has been an amazing ride. This year we doubled our events from the year before and have so enjoyed watching our little business really start to blossom.
Each bride and groom that we worked with this year had such distinct and unique personalities and yet two things remained the same: a fierce love for one another and for what marriage stands for. We have been blessed with couples that not have only have the desire to create a beautiful wedding atmosphere filled with amazing details, but also recognize what’s really important about their day: building a strong marriage and sharing that foundation with family and friends.
So without further ado, here are some of our favorite moments from 2013. Unfortunately, not every event is represented below as we are still awaiting photos from a few, but the majority are here. Thank you also to the amazing photographers we had the pleasure of working with over the past year.

And, we don’t just do weddings. We also love when we get to put our creativity to work on other events, like Shelby Grace’s adorable first birthday party.
We were also blessed by being featured on some wonderful blogs and local publications this year! In February, Emily and Josh’s Scarritt Bennett/backyard shindig was featured on Borrowed and Bleu:
Then the next day, Megan and Art’s organic foodie wedding was featured on Love and Lavender.
February also brought an exciting feature in the form of a styled shoot that we did for Murfreesboro Magazine, found both inside the publication as well as on the cover.
In May, Brittni and Andrew’s Cinco de Mayo wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty’s Little Blag Book Blog.
In July, Morgan and Brett’s lovely and local Cheekwood/Loveless Barn wedding was focused on the Wedding Wire blog.
And then they were featured again in the Winter/Spring edition of Nashville Lifestyles Weddings.
And in June, we participated in the first Nashville Not Wedding, which was an absolute blast! Some of our work was featured in the write up done by the Ruffled blog.
And finally, this month Wedding Chicks featured us on their Vendor Happy Hour.
Since this blog post is getting as long as the past year was, it’s time to wrap up the year end wrap up. Again, we’d like to thank both our fabulous clients and the awesome hard working vendors that help make all of these events possible. Without all of you, Modern Vintage would not be where it is today.
As we welcome the new year, we are taking some big steps and giant leaps of faith to continue to grow our little business. We love what we do and are so excited to see what 2014 has in store for us!
