Organic Tennessee Wedding
Danielle + Pablo are two of the kindest, most genuine people. Danielle’s family lives in Tennessee but she and Pablo live in Spain (Pablo is from Spain). They planned their wedding from afar (multiple time zones afar).
It was important to them that their wedding be eco-conscious and make a small footprint. We did this by using china, flatware and glassware and not using any disposables. They used rooted plants paired with flowers as their aisle decor and centerpieces so that they could be replanted again after the wedding. Their flowers came from a local flower farm. Danielle and Pablo worked to recycle the waste from the wedding as well.
I was important to them that their wedding have an organic feel and be a fun celebration for their guests. Danielle really wanted an outdoor ceremony and wanted to incorporate nature as much as possible. The Wren’s Nest proved to be the perfect place. Their wedding day was a bit rainy and it seemed like the ceremony may have to be moved indoors. We actually decided the ceremony should be inside but once talking to Danielle she really wanted to try to make it work in nature. The weather front, that we were watching obsessively, seemed like it may pass so we decided to go for out and try it outside. The Wren’s Nest staff, Basil and Bergamot (florist) and Dan Buckley (DJ) made a few quick changes and we ushered the guests outside.
Through the short spurts of rain Danielle and Pablo had a beautiful and heartfelt wedding ceremony with their friends and family from all over the world there with them. After the ceremony, despite a little bit of rain, Danielle and Pablo decided to go out and take some photos capturing some really amazing and real moments of their wedding day.
Danielle has a serious dairy allergy so Dream Events and Catering worked hard to make sure their delicious vegan dinner was kept from contamination. They also offered a vegan wedding cake, which was incredibly good! After dinner, their guests danced inside the hundred year old barn and truly enjoyed their time together. They had a wonderful day of celebrating!
